The power of humility in leadership

As a leader for many different organisations over the past two decades, I have had my fair share of lessons learnt from various experiences. At times when I have made mistakes, failed, admitted defeat and become the worst version of myself, whilst putting on a brave face for people at work, I have taken out my stress and anger out on my loved ones at home. While I always vow to never make the same mistake twice, sometimes the root cause of that mistake can be the same.

Living your why in life and business

Troy Morgan shares his WHY around helping people engage with change, and the reason the internal personal work needs to come before any business change work that we do.

What Will Your Health Legacy Be?

“It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.” – Amy Landers.

The courage to grow

Watching my six-year-old grow, learn and experience new things is such an inspiration but also quite intimidating. She seems to have no fear of failure and welcomes change because it means new experiences and new learning.

Opportunity of Change

“Coaching with compassion targets positive emotional attractors in the brain and the session becomes about hope for the future, possibilities, dreams, optimism for the future, a sense of joy and physiological arousal of the parasympathetic nervous system.”

Gratitude

“What if we chose, every day, to be truly grateful for what we have and what is around us? Hailey Bartholomew did, and it changed her life.”
